Bio

Lucía Pallarés-Rodríguez was born in Vigo, Spain, in 1999. In 2017, she moved to Barcelona to pursue a double degree in Computer Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), which she completed in June and September of 2022, respectively. In February 2024 she received her M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering also from UAB, after presenting her thesis on “Interference Detection and Mitigation in GNSS Receivers Exploiting Spatial Diversity”, which she developed during a six-month internship at the European Space Agency (ESA). Since February 2024 she has been pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the SPCOMNAV research group.

Research interests

Her research interests lie in the field of future positioning and navigation systems, based on the combination of 5G/6G signals, low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and GNSS.
