Bio
Mahdi Bakhshi received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran, in 2021, with a thesis on "Design and Implementation of an Absolute Magnetic Encoder". He received the M.Sc. degree in Digital Electronic Systems from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran—the top-ranked engineering university in Iran—in 2024, with a thesis on "Near-field Localization with a Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface".
He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the SPCOMNAV group under a PhD grant (reference PREP2023-001519) funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
