Bio

Sadiq Ali received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2004 from NWFP University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan. He received the M.Sc. in Digital Communication Systems and Technology in 2008 from the Department of Signals and Systems, Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. He was working as a Research Assistant at the Microelectronics and Electronics Systems Department at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) from February 2008 to January 2009. From January 2009 to March 2014, he was a PhD student at the SPCOMNAV group.

On March 31, 2014, he completed his PhD entitled "Multi-sensor detection schemes using spatio-temporal models" at the SPCOMNAV group. 

Research interests

His research interests are in the field of statistical signal processing with applications to communications and navigation, distributed detection theory and wireless sensor networks.
