Bio

Daniel Egea Roca was born in Sabadell, Spain, in 1989. He received the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2012 and the M.Sc. in Micro and Nano Electronics Engineering in 2013, both from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). From December 2012 to January 2015, he was involved in the iGNSSrx project funded by the European Commission, where his research was focused on GNSS integrity improvements based on interference detection techniques for GNSS receivers. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at the SPCOMNAV group, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).

From June to September 2015, and April to June 2016, he was visiting Princeton University (USA) hosted by Prof. H. Vincent Poor, to work on sequential change detection techniques for GNSS signal-level integrity. From July to September 2016, he was visiting Hanyang University (South Korea) hosted by Prof. Sunwoo Kim, to work on cooperative quickest detection techniques.

On September 8, 2017, he completed his PhD at the SPCOMNAV group. 

Research interests

His research interests lie in the field of statistical signal processing and integrity in GNSS receivers.
