Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
Bellaterra 08193 - Barcelona (Spain)
Bio
Marc Barceló Lladó was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in 1987. He received the M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering (with honors) in 2010 from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Since 2010, he is a PhD candidate at the Telecommunications and Systems Engineering Department of UAB, working on energy efficient routing strategies for Wireless Sensor Networks. In 2011, he received the COIT/AEIT prize that awards the best Spanish M.Sc. final project related to the basics and fundamental information technologies of communications and their applications. From July to December 2014, he was an International PhD student at Bell Labs (Alcatel-Lucent), in New Jersey, EEUU, where he was involved in optimal resource allocation for distributed cloud networks. He has participated in several european R&D projects, such as ADIBEAM and SINTONIA.
On November 9, 2015, he completed his PhD at the SPCOMNAV group.
Research interests
His main research interests include digital beamforming, resource allocation and energy efficient routing.Recent publications
