Bio

Rafael Terris-Gallego (Senior Member, IEEE) received his M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, and in Digital Communications Systems from Telecom Bretagne (IMT Atlantique), Brest, France, both in 2001. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as a Research Engineer in mobile wireless communications at Wavecom, Paris, France. Between 2005 and 2015, he served as a Development Engineer and Technical Project Manager in satellite communications at Indra, Barcelona, Spain. Since 2008, he has been an Adjunct Lecturer at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain, and a Teaching Consultant at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Barcelona, Spain, since 2018. Additionally, he has been a Researcher in GNSS at the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), Barcelona, Spain, since 2021. On November 18, 2024, he completed his Ph.D. in the field of GNSS from the Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation (SPCOMNAV) group.
