Bio

Engineering (Wireless Communication) from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan, in 2023. As part of his master’s studies, he participated in an Erasmus+ exchange program at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, where he focused on advanced communication systems. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering at the Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation (SPCOMNAV) group, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). His doctoral studies are funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network (MiFuture). As part of his Ph.D. program, he will conduct research stays at Ericsson Research (Sweden) and at the Institute of Telecommunications (Portugal).

Research interests

His research interests focus on wireless communications and signal processing for next-generation networks, with emphasis on near-field channel estimation and modeling. They also include 6G systems, MIMO technologies, joint communication and sensing (JCAS/ISAC), intelligent and hybrid surfaces, localization, robust signal processing, perceptive and cell-free network architectures, and THz and mmWave technologies.
