Marc Barcelo, student member of SPCOMNAV, has received the COIT/AEIT prize for his final project entitled "IAA Beamforming for Galileo Ground Stations and 2-D Efficient DOA Estimation", and supervised by Dr. Jose Lopez Vicario. This prize awards the best Spanish final project related to the basics and fundamental information technologies of communications and their applications. He has also contributed with this project to 3 conference papers in the framework of the ADIBEAM project, and 1 journal paper related to the 2-D DOA estimation topic.
