Dr. Joaquin Escudero Garzás has joined our group as a post-doc researcher funded by the "Alianza 4 Universidades". Dr. Escudero Garzás obtained with Ph.D. degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2010, and he will be working on signal processing and MAC layer aspects of Flexible and Heterogeneous Wireless Networks.

Alianza 4 Universidades (formed by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Universitat Pompeu Fabra) was created in 2008 with the aim of expanding international projection of these four public universities and of promoting excellence in all activities carried out. It also facilitates mobility between professors and doctors and fosters projects in the European Higher Education Area and the European Area of Research
