Bio

Xing Liu received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, in June 2023. He continued at KAUST as a Postdoctoral Fellow until October 2025. He also held visiting research positions at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Spain. He is currently a Research Scientist at the Institute for Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), working within the SPCOMNAV group at the UAB.

Research interests

His research interests lie in signal processing and estimation for positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), with a particular focus on exploiting LEO satellite signals and developing advanced GNSS-based techniques for attitude determination and high-precision positioning.
